How RENTIERA collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information.

Last updated: September 30, 2026

1. Who we are

RENTIERA is an extended-stay hospitality platform operating in the Philippines. It connects guests with verified hotel merchants for stays of five nights or longer, and operates a controlled private placement stock (PPS) marketplace for approved hotel offerings. This policy explains what personal information we handle and why.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use RENTIERA, we may collect:

  • Account information — your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash) when you create an account.
  • Google Sign-In information — if you choose "Continue with Google", we receive from Google's authentication service your name, email address, basic profile information and a Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Identity verification (KYC) information — legal name, date of birth, nationality, address and identity document details, when you submit verification.
  • Booking and transaction information — stay dates, properties, amounts, payment references and wallet or PPS activity. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Support and usage information — messages you send us and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • Authenticate you and create or access your RENTIERA account.
  • Maintain account security and prevent fraud and unauthorized access.
  • Process bookings, payments, refunds, wallet activity and PPS orders.
  • Verify identity where the service requires it (KYC).
  • Provide the application functionality you request, including support.
  • Meet legal, accounting and audit obligations.

4. How information is stored and protected

Your data is stored in our hosted cloud database with row-level access controls. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Identity documents are kept in private storage and are accessible only through authorized, time-limited access — never through public links. Sensitive actions are recorded in an audit trail. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider over encrypted connections.

5. When we share information

We share information only with the service providers needed to operate RENTIERA — for example our cloud hosting and database provider, our payment provider, and Google when you choose to sign in with Google — and only to the extent needed to provide the service. We may also disclose information where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell Google user data.

6. Your choices and requests

You can update your account details from your profile page. You may request assistance regarding your account or personal information — including access, correction or deletion requests — by contacting us through the support channel inside your account or at the contact address below. Some records (for example financial ledger entries) must be retained for legal and audit reasons and cannot be deleted while those obligations apply.

7. Data retention

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as required by applicable law and our audit obligations. Verification documents are retained for the period needed to meet compliance requirements.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email or in-app notice.

9. Contact us

For privacy questions or requests, contact RENTIERA support through the Support section of your account, or email support@rentiera.app.
